Our transportation services at PAA play a vital role in improving the quality of life for older adults in the community. We understand that mobility challenges can be a barrier, and that’s why our transportation service is designed to help you access essential resources, services, and social activities. Whether it’s reaching doctor appointments, joining our Dining Clubs or Veterans needing to reach the Hampton VA Medical Center, our reliable transportation ensures that you can uphold your independence and stay actively involved in the vibrant life of the community.
To receive a ride to your routine doctor’s appointment, you must schedule in advance.
Detailed information regarding your scheduled appointment must be provided and appointments must be scheduled Monday – Friday between 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Once the appointment information is confirmed, we will provide transportation to and from your location.
Requirements are as follows:
- 60 years of age and over
- Not eligible for Medicaid transportation
- No other available means of obtaining
transportation - No access to public transportation
- Unable to afford private transportation
